Self Evaluation

What is the thesis for your paper?
My grandmother raised me, and tought me everything I know, making me who I am today.

List the main points you make in your paper.
My grandmother was always there when I needed her, we used to enjoy breakfast every moring while reminicing of old memories, and My grandmother tought me all the lessons in life that you need to know.

What was the most helpful advice you received from your peer evaluation?
To focus more on the main points.

What was the most helpful information you received in class for your paper?
How to narrow down your point, to make it clear to the reader what your writing about.

How many drafts of this paper do you think you wrote and how/when did you write them? For example, did you compose at the keyboard, did you write lots of notes to yourself, did you pre-write or outline, did you write in small chunks of time or sit down and produce an entire draft at one sitting?
I only wrote 2 drafts, the rough draft and the final draft.

What would you do differently with this paper to make it more effectively, or what did you try to do that you just don’t think you got a good handle on?
I tried to explain everything my grandmother has done for me, I don't feel like I included as much detail as I should have.

What are most pleased with about this paper?
The topic. Being able to choose your own personal topic always makes the writing easier.

Peer Review

What would you like to see changed?
I would rather not do peer review, only because I prefer to do work on my own.

How would you like for it to be done?
Not.

Is there too much time in class that is devoted to peer review?
I think so, because I would rather learn more during class about writing its self, I can have anyone read my paper.

Introduction

My name is Jesse Capps, I'm from Saint Joseph, MO. I enjoy reading whatever catches my attention. I've read books such as; "Silence of the Lambs", "Hannibal", "The Heroin Diaries", and "The Greatest: Muhammad Ali". I like to write. I tend to write better when I'm given a personal task, instead of a set in stone subject to write about. I think that's about it.
